Labour vote against £100,000 Mental health investment

Updated: Feb 26

Tonight at the Annual Budget setting meeting at Hyndburn Borough Council, Labour Councillors voted against a grant scheme that would have seen £100,000 awarded to local charities.

This £100,000 would have been used to fund hundreds of hours of additional counseling for adults, teenagers, and children, that are having to wait months for support at the minute.

We all know that mental health issues are on the increase, however Labour don't think it is there responsibility to help. When they can!!!
